Tyler Sacco recognized his wife, Kayla, was having a stroke in the passenger seat while he was driving. Her right side went limp, she slumped over, one side of her face drooped and she began slurring her words. Within 60 seconds, Tyler had 911 called because he recognized the symptoms after helping save a co-worker’s life from a stroke years before.
Kayla was taken to the hospital by EMS within minutes and received the clot-busting medication and clot-removing procedure that helped save her life. Tyler stayed by Kayla’s side and supported her throughout her stroke recovery journey.
